Event & Warehouse Operations Coordinator


With a wide-ranging scope of work, the DMSE Event & Warehouse Operations Coordinator will support the DMSE staff with responsibilities in the warehouse and a broad range of tasks working on most events. Most of these tasks are collaborative in nature and will take working with all DMSE full time staff and Senior Event Managers.

The main responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Warehouse:
    • Organization – Responsible for maintaining the overall layout and organization of the warehouse, as well as maintaining warehouse cleanliness
    • Inventory – Responsible for taking periodic inventory of all stock & tools and maintaining inventory levels
    • Truck Loading – Equipment loading for all events & rentals, including supervising any needed additional labor
    • Shipping – Pack and ship items as required
    • Recommendations – For additional equipment, tools & supplies, improved layout & organization of the warehouse​


  • Support – Will vary depending on event, but can include any of the following:
    • Assist with Permit/Approval Process
      • Application preparation & submission
      • Letter writing
      • Request follow up
    • USATF Event Sanction Submissions
      • Form preparation & submission
      • Distribution of Certificates of Insurance
    • Bib Ordering
      • Production Schedule
      • Design Process
      • Approvals
    • Place Orders With Established Vendors
      • Portable Toilets
      • Dumpsters
      • T-Shirts
      • Signage
      • Truck Rentals
      • Radios
      • Any supplies
      • Etc.
    • Event Documentation
      • Equipment Lists
      • Layouts
      • Procedures
  • Event Planning
    • Assist with any additional aspect of event planning as assigned
    • Take on various lead roles as assigned
  • Event Execution
    • Be prepared to work all events as assigned

The Event & Warehouse Operations Coordinator should be reliable, detail-oriented, creative, and have self-starter mentality. Aside from assisting with the responsibilities listed above we look for this position to bring innovative ideas to improve the day-to-day warehouse operations


  • Must have transportation and have a valid MA driver’s license
  • Must be comfortable driving large trucks up to 26’ in length or be willing to learn to do so (no special license required).
  • Must be able to lift at least heavy weights (50+ lbs.) for extended periods of time
  • Must be proficient using computers and familiar with the following tools:
  • Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Google applications including Gmail, Drive, Earth, and Maps

Preferred Skills:

  • Certified Forklift Operator
  • Experience working with power tools
